| Whilst Peter Sommers offers primarily gulet cruises based out of Turkey, he does have one cruise that takes in a few of the Greek Islands, but it is not really a Greek cruise line. They are, I am told, considering opening up gulet cruises in the islands; I'll keep you posted. These are a different kind of holiday, for those who are a little fed up with beach holidays but don't want the full head on 'activity' vacation. Peter Sommer is an English archaeologist, writer, photographer, lecturer and award-winning documentary filmmaker who trekked in Turkey, fell in love with it, and now takes discerning travelers from around the world on his personal treks and gulet cruises each year. Want a truly personal travel experience with a personable, knowledgeable, witty guide, and small groups (maximum 14 on gulet cruises, 16 on the land trip)? Consider joining one of Peter's travel groups.
