Greek Cruise Lines

Which Greek cruise lines sail the Greek Isles and the Aegean Sea?

Travellers planning a cruise to the Greek Isles have their choice of all types of cruise ships--luxury, mainstream, caiques and sailing ships.

A Stunning Sailing Ship From The Star Clippers Line

Almost every cruise line sailing the Mediterranean has at least one cruise with a port of call in the Greek Islands. There are dozens of cruise lines, but not all of them can be considered as Greek cruise lines. A search on the Internet found at least 180 cruises of the eastern Mediterranean in the next year, many of which include Greece. Now, you can cruise Greece for as little as 600 euros per week. Air fare of course, is additional.

Cruise ships come in all shapes and sizes--from those with less than 50 passengers to those with over 3000! This, and other pages on this site, provides information on cruise lines and cruise ships of all sizes--large ship cruise lines, mid-sized ship cruise lines, small ship cruise lines and sailing ship cruise lines.

Large mainstream cruise lines sailing Greece, whose ships carry over 1,500 passengers, include Carnival, Celebrity, Costa, Norwegian, Princess, and Royal Caribbean.

Mid-sized cruise lines cruising Greece, whose ships carry between 500-1500 passengers, include Crystal, Holland America, Oceania, and Regent Seven Seas.

Small ship cruise lines cruising Greece, whose ships carry less than 500 passengers, include Silversea, Seabourn, SeaDream Yacht Club, Hebridean International, and Wind Star.

Sailing ship cruise lines cruising Greece, whose ships carry as few as 8-10 passengers; very intimate and include Star Clippers and Windstar Cruise Lines.

We have been on several types of cruises ourselves, the first was on a large ship cruiser which we didn't like at all; not that it wasn't what was promised, it's simply didn't 'tick all the boxes' for us. We then tried smaller and smaller ships until we ventured out on some sailing, gulet, and caiques cruises which we always enjoy. We would highly recommend the latter to our clients. But the choice is yours of course.

Check out the information on all of the different types of cruises and ships on offer from the many Greek cruise lines sailing to the Greek islands, bearing in mind that this is just a sample of what's available.
