The climate of Rhodes is a mild Mediterranean climate characterised by sunny and dry summers with mild winters. Cooling breezes and winds blow during the months of July and August, making the temperatures more bearable, and of course contribute in making the island a perfect holiday destination.
You will find a dry Mediterranean climate in most of Attica, the Cyclades Islands, the Dodecanese Islands, the low lands of Crete, the Peloponnese (along the eastern and southern coast) and Evia.

As an island, Rhodes has a rather humid climate and occasional heavy rains during winter and autumn seasons.
